Title: Help Me, Let Go
Author: beautiful_robot
Fandom: Real Person
Pairing,Character(s): Matthew/Dianna, Matthew/Jayma, Jayma/Jessalyn
Rating: PG
Summary: On Matthew's wedding day he can't keep his mind on his bride.
Disclaimer: Clearly I own nothing and this is all made up crap.

Author's Note: This plot popped into my head after I saw this photo. Dianna is the bride although she's never mentioned by name. Jayma is horribly out of character I feel but oh well.

The room is aglow with millions of tiny twinkling lights shining down from the ceiling. The classical music has faded into a upbeat top 40 hit, the crowd is dancing and laughing. The joyous vibe coming off them is warming. He looks over the crowd spotting family, friends, random strangers.

The bride is dancing with Chris, his tux is the best in the room better then his own. They are trying to do some sort of sexy dance, the loud giggles make it clear they weren't meant for such a dance. She looks happy. Her tight updo has fallen lose, curls spilling down her neck. He's truly in awe of her beauty. He's happy. He really is. When he looks at his new bride his heart fills with love and he knows it's right, he knows she's it. She's it.

His eyes steal away, finding her. Jayma's got her arms tightly wrapped around Jessalyn's waist as they drunkenly sway back and forth, their dance is much slower then the rest of the room. His eye's lock on her, his heart shouldn't ache anymore. But it does. She's turned him down a million times. Over and over again. He's lost count of the amount of times she's told him she's married, she's not interested, please just leave me alone. He hasn't missed the fact that the Brit is nowhere to be seen tonight. He wonders if he's really working as she says or if he's just as sick of seeing the two ladies not so secretly together.

He shouldn't care either way. It's his wedding day. He shouldn't care about anyone but his bride. He should go ask Chris if he can cut in. That's what he should be doing.

But that's not what he does. Instead he finds himself going the other way. He taps Jessalyn's warm bare shoulder. Jayma lifts her head and the glare she sends him should make him turn around and run. But it doesn't. It never does. One dance, maybe if he dances with her once he could get over this. Finally be able to move on. Just one dance to fix this.

Love it so far. Drunken JJ dancing is always good. Good old persistent Matt. He needs to persevere. GO MATT GO!
